From a friend's report
Next to a thrilling research area, atmosphere and coworkers seemed friendly and helpful; I like to keep learning and developing, and to work in an international environment; So, doing science hits the spot.
Magdeburg is spacious and offers a lot of green spaces, next to the beautiful grasslands and parks close to the Elbe. Also, housing is comparably cheap.
The atmosphere is supportive, with open-minded, positive-thinking coworkers and a nice office. I like the courses by Higrade, those are helping to organise my own work and are giving hints on how to deal with all thing related to professional and technical, and also with individual balance topics. So far, I enjoy going to work every day.
