Studying Environmental Science and Technology at TU Berlin, the UFZ has long been on my radar as a beacon of environmental research. I think I first learned about it on the website of the Waterscience alliance which was created by - the UFZ...what a coincidence.
I got the opportunity to work in a project in which I can advance my environmental engineering background as well as my analytical knowledge opening up great learning opportunities.
Owing to a vibrant music scene, one of Germany's most renowned orchestras and its long musical history Leipzig has lots to offer. Additionally, it is in many ways a pleasant change from always-on-the-run Berlin that is my hometown.
Well, since I started at the UFZ I was definitely never bored. There's always something new to learn and it's hard to decide where to start! I love it. For me HIGRADE has offered interesting opportunities to take courses that I am interested in and so far I am really happy about them.
Listening to, making, talking about music. Playing, watching, talking about football. Sports, movies, photography, building stuff...
