At UFZ since

November 2018

How did you learn about the UFZ?

I got to know some of the researchers from the UFZ when I was working as a research assistant at the EGU.

Why did you come to the UFZ?

Because it is a great address for water quality research and because my unsolicited application for a PhD in water quality research was encouraged and supported.

What do you like about the city you live in?

In comparison to Freiburg, where I studied, Leipzig has far more cultural offers. For example art exhibitions or concerts. I also enjoy the alluvial forest and the lakes nearby, although they cannot make up for the black forest ;)

How do you like it at the UFZ / in HIGRADE?

Until now, I am very happy to work here.

Hobbies

I like to be out in nature, especially for hiking or climbing and I enjoy art exhibitions and to draw or paint myself.
