How did you learn about the UFZ?

I was looking for an attractive PhD project at an international research institute and I found my current PhD project as a job advertisement on the UFZ homepage.

Why did you come to the UFZ?

The UFZ provides perfect scientific conditions for young researchers to develop their own scientific profile. In addition, the importance of environmental research plays a key role in current science and I would like to make a contribution to environmental research.

What do you like about the city you live in?

Leipzig is a young and dynamic city with a diversity of different lifestyles. Here there is a perfect balance between big city life and green recreation areas. In addition, the city offers a variety of high-class sport events.

How do you like it at the UFZ / in HIGRADE?

I feel very comfortable at the UFZ and HIGRADE gives me the opportunity to improve important skills during my PhD as well as meet new colleagues.
