Robust Water Cycle Information for Germany: Validation, Significance and Indicators
July 2017
I already knew about UFZ from my Geoecology Bachelor studies in Bayreuth, having many fellow students doing internships there.
I started a research assistant job at UFZ in 2017 in the computational landscape ecology department during my master degree in natural resource management at the University of Halle, and then switched in 2018 to the computational hydro systems department. Before starting my PhD in 2021, I worked on different topics and projects such as the German Drought Monitor.
I really like the very open minded and relaxed atmosphere of Leipzig. Its a very green and livable city.
I like the focus of UFZ to work on solving societal pressing research questions.
