How did you learn about the UFZ?

As Helmholtz Association is the largest scientific research institution in Germany, I have heard of it many years ago. Then because I have an educational background in environmental research, so that is why I know UFZ.

Why did you come to the UFZ?

UFZ has unparalleled experimental equipments and excellent employees, which serve as the guarantee of my expectant research object. Most importantly, I have found the right supervisor and research topic at UFZ.

What do you like about the city you live in?

Magdeburg is not a big and international city, but I like to live in here. Because it is quiet, well-regulated and friendly, also it has the beautiful Elbe river which I pass by every day.

How do you like it at the UFZ / in HIGRADE?

No matter scientists or technicians or PhD students, all of them are friendly and willing to help me. Apart from it, I think they are really skilled and professional, and HIGRADE is well-organized and always trying to improve.
