My PhD advisor introduced me to UFZ as it is a leading institution in my field of study.

Why did you come to the UFZ?

I joined UFZ because of its excellent research environment, interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities and advanced scientific infrastructure. It provides an excellent platform to conduct high-impact research in biodiversity and ecosystem restoration, which aligns with my PhD objectives.

What do you like about the city you live in?

The city has a diverse community. I appreciate its best public transport, and vibrant research community at UFZ which is best for both study and personal growth.

How do you like it at the UFZ / in HIGRADE?

UFZ provides an excellent research environment with an expert supervision and a collaborative academic culture. The HIGRADE graduate school offers valuable courses and networking opportunities that enhance my PhD experience.
