One of the members of the jury evaluating my master's thesis gave me the name of my current supervisor as she felt that my future goals would fit in with the research carried out in this laboratory.
As a Portuguese, one of the things I miss most is the sea. Although the lakes in Leipzig are no substitute for the sea, they bring me a lot of peace and quiet because they are very pleasant and give me a certain feeling of comfort! Besides, the parks all over the city are incredible.
The UFZ is very welcoming, the atmosphere is very friendly, I am very pleased with my experience here.
