M. Eng. Paul Satke

Paul Satke is a mechanical engineer and works as a scientific assistant at the HTWK on the energy needs analysis for the EASyQuart project. With the help of suitable software such as SimulationX, he creates representative load profiles for different types of buildings in urban areas.

Konstanze Zschoke is the head of R&D at geoENERGIE Konzept. Her role involves coordinating project work, taking on administrative tasks, providing impulses for content-related work packages, and contributing to the transfer of results and stakeholder-oriented communication through various channels.

Sepehr Sangin works in the project as project manager of the geoENERGIE team. He contributes to digital system planning, the practical preparation of uncertainty analyses and the optimisation process for the BHE positioning.

Steve Henker, Head of Construction, contributes to the further development of exploration and monitoring strategies and the decision support system.

Annika Hachenberger

M. Sc. Annika Hachenberger

Annika Hachenberger, project assistant, is responsible for the technical preparation, implementation, and post-processing of fieldwork for in-situ exploration and impact monitoring at demonstration sites. Additionally, she contributes to the application study for technical solutions in existing buildings.

Dr.-Ing. Marcus Fuchs

Marcus Fuchs is co-founder and managing director of heatbeat. With the heatbeat Digital Twin, heatbeat supports the energy system planning perspective in the project.

Arnold Fütterer

Arnold studied energy engineering at RWTH Aachen University. As a development engineer, he works on the ongoing development of the heatbeat Digital Twin.

Dr. Karsten Rink

Karsten Rink is head of the research group "Data Integration and Visualisation" at the department Environmental Informatics at the UFZ. For this project, he is handling the pre- and postprocessing of input data and simulation results for a subsequent integrated visualisation of data sets. Together with Uwe-Jens Görke, he is also coordinating the activities of the UFZ within this project.

Dr. Haibing Shao

Haibing Shao is a staff scientist and leading the research group Geothermal System Analysis in the Department of Environmental Informatics at the UFZ. For the project he is coordinating the development new features in OpenGeoSys software.

M.Sc. Nele Hastreiter

Nele holds a master's degree in geological science from the Freie Universität Berlin and is focused on hydrogeology. In the project she works in the department MET at UFZ on the development of innovative monitoring and exploration strategies for the geothermal district development.

Uwe Görke

Dr. Uwe-Jens Görke

Uwe is senior scientists with the UFZ, his background is in theoretical mechanics. He has very successfully applied to and coordinated several third-party funded projects including EASyQuart and the WIR! initiative RegioZukunft:Wärme.

Nico Graebeling

M.Sc. Nico Graebling

Nico studied computer science at the Universität Leipzig, specialising in computer graphics, scientific visualisation and virtual reality. Since 2021 he is working as a research assistant at the Department of Environmental Informatics at the UFZ. Within the project he will develop interactive 3D visualisations.
 

Thomas Vienken

Prof. Dr. Thomas Vienken

Thomas is leading the working group Direct Push and Hydrogeological Measurement Methods at the UFZ Department Monitoring and Exploration Technologies and is Professor for Geothermal Energy at the TU Munich Campus Straubing. With his expertise, Thomas supports the improvement of the geological database and develops and applies innovative geothermal exploration and monitoring strategies at the EASyQuart-Plus sites.
