How did you learn about the UFZ?

One of my professors at university worked at the UFZ and used the location for a seminar.

What do you like about the city you live in?

I love Leipzig, because it is a lively city with many students, artists and cultural events. At the same time, it preserves its tranqulity in the parks, cafes, the forests and at the lakes that surround the the city.

How do you like it at the UFZ / in HIGRADE?

I was very lucky to get the position at the UFZ, it provides a very good scientific and social working environment. I particularly like the campus and its infrastructure and the international atmosphere. Apart from this, I appreciate the possibilities, the UFZ and Higrade offer for doctoral researchers.

Most of my spare time I spend practicing archery, kendo or several outdoor activities like cycling and hiking. Apart from this, I love travelling the world, photography and learning languages.
