September 2010

How did you learn about the UFZ?

Why did you come to the UFZ?

Interesting research topics, international scientists, and the splendid city of Leipzig

What do you like about the city you live in?

There are still some derelict houses left from the older days what makes a walk through the streets of Leipzig quite interesting. On the other hand there are extended parks, water channels and lakes in the city – perfect places for a summer evening.

How do you like it at the UFZ / in HIGRADE?

I like the pleasant working atmosphere and my friendly colleagues. The computational infrastructure and the remote sensing equipment are more than helpful for my work.
