I work on a protein in the zebrafish that plays a major role in the active transport of chemicals. The aim is to develop an in vitro test to determine the interaction of chemicals with this transport protein.

What do you like about the city you live in?
Leipzig is great! Especially I like the lakes and parks.
How do you like it at the UFZ / in HIGRADE?
I have friendly and supportive colleagues. The HIGRADE courses I have attended so far were quite good. We get funding to travel (e.g. conferences). I like it.
