This chapter presents a brief overview of the application of high-throughput in vitro bioassay testing for chemical risk assessment. Huge databases of in vitro single chemical data have become available in the last ten years and they serve well for inspiration on the selection of bioassays for water quality testing but also provides input data for the mixture models.
