Statischer Dauerdüngeversuch / Static Fertilization Experiment Bad Lauchstädt
Description
This dataset contains all input data for the CCB model to simulate the turnover of soil organic matter (SOM) for 36 treatments from the start of the experiment in 1902/1906 until 2019.
There are three grous of data:
(1) observations: these are SOC and Nt results from top soil sampling, 0-20 cm with an auger where the soil was mixed from 20 single cores.
(2) management data: treatments , action , item and quantity according to the requirement of the CCB model
(3) climate data: monthly aggregated data of temperature and rainfall as required for the CCB model

The site_description value in observations and management relates to the fertilization history of treatments in the data set
Pxx: plot number in original experimental scheme (Statis Expriment Bad Lauchstädt)until 1978

M0: no manure; M1: manure rate 10 Mg ha-1 yr-1; M2: manure rate 15 Mg ha-1 yr-1;
NPK+: full mineral fertilization; NPK-: no mineral fertilization;

indication of management change after 1978:
M2 or M0 as descibed above
and nitrogen application as follows
N1: no mineral nitrogen after 1978; N2: normal rate for mineral nitrogen after 1978; N3: high rate for mineral nitrogen after 1978

the comple structure of treatment names is Pxx-My-Nz where Pxx indicates the management until 1978 and the following part indicates the management after 1978
