Workshop 1: July 2018
Workshop 1 was held in July 2018 over a period of two weeks. During this workshop, participants developed an understanding of the overall JWP model structure. In doing so, participants gained knowledge and developed skills in:
- The basics of Economics, specifically Consumer Theory, Supply and Demand, Welfare Economics, Public Goods and Externalities
- Programming in R, Netlogo and Python
- Agent-based modelling, and
- Scenario and model customization
