(Including 4 treatments and 6 replicates: maize-P placement (column number: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 21), maize-P uniform (column number: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 22), faba-P placement (11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 23), faba-P uniform (12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24)). Soil columns of maize were scanned 4 times (named T1, T2, T3, T4). Soil columns of faba bean were scanned 5 times (named T1, T2, T3, T4, T5)
