This archive contains deseasonalized soil moisture data at 40 locations from observations and hydrological simulations from mHM used in the publication https://hess.copernicus.org/preprints/hess-2021-402/

We acknowledge the TERENO community and FLUXNET community for providing soil moisture observational data.
