Research interests
I am interested in predicting carbon fixation pathways in complex microbial communities, using multi-omics approach. To achieve that, my work will involve the exploration of metagenomes available in public repositories. My work will start with curation and standardization of metadata associated with hosts (non-human) metagenomes from public repositories. This will be followed by the development of novel bioinformatics pipeline coupled with machine learning that will be used in the prediction of the pathways.
