Research Interests
The speed of biological data generation has long surpassed the ability of the scientific community to comprehend it and analyze it. Bioinformatics plays a special role in this scenario, as it allows mathematical modeling and computational tools to be applied in biological data processing, management, storage and analysis. As the Technician of the Microbial Systems Bioinformatics Group, I am interested in biological data processing efficiency and mathematical modeling of biological data, specially applied to omics data of environmental metagenomic communities.
