Current Research Interests

It remains unclear how spread of antibiotic resistance in the environment impacts human and animal health. The survival of resistant bacteria from animals could be reduced in a well-managed anaerobic digestion process. What are the possible influences the operational parameters could have? What are the fate and effects of antibiotics and antibiotic resistant genes in anaerobic digestion systems?
