Forschungsschwerpunkte und Methoden

Die AG Mikrobielle Ökologie und Biodegradation fokussiert auf die Proteomanalyse von mikrobiellen Kulturen, welche zum Abbau von BTEX und chlorierten Kohlenwasserstoffen unter aeroben und aneroben Bedingungen befähigt sind. Die erst kürzlich etablierte Methode des metabolischen Einbaus von stabilen Isotopen in das Proteom von Bakterien (Protein-SIP) wird für die Untersuchung von genau definierten Mischkulturen sowie Anreicherungskulturen angewandt.
