Abstract Different materials (granulated activated carbon, Zr loaded activated carbon, Absorptionsmittel 3, zero-valent iron, granular iron hydroxide) were investigated for their capability to remove arsenic from water. Both arsenite and arsenate were investigated and batch and column tests were carried out.
