Renato Russo

I gained a master degree in Environmental and Molecular Biotechnology at University of Studies of Naples (Italy). I joined Ecotoxicology group of the UFZ in 2013 and since then have been interested in understanding the effects of pesticide on non-target freshwater macroinvertebrates from the species level up to the community level.

My investigation, among others, deals with:
(i) multiple stressors
(ii) long term/delayed effects
(iii) molecular mechanism of neonicotinoids
(iv) adaptation
