Seminar Series - Science Talk UFZ

Challenges and Perspectives of Chemical and Bio-Technologies for the Environment

The seminar series has the intention to invite speakers, which are leaders in this field and to frame their talks with discussions with students and scientists from UFZ and the region. It is our aim to debate in an open-minded manner the limitations of current scientific approaches, challenges of research perspectives, emerging options for innovation, and high risk – high gain projects/concepts.

The overall benefit is to tap the experience and advice of our guest lecturers, to familiarize these leading researchers with our research, personnel and science infrastructure, and to explore common ground for additional collaboration.

Science Talk UFZ

The seminars will thus be accompanied by informal meetings (and lab visits) to which colleagues from outside of the UFZ are warmly invited. Upcoming seminars will be announced here where also information on past events is provided.
