ETC/CCA – European Topic Centre on Climate Change impacts, vulnerability and Adaptation

Funded by the EEA - European Environment Agency

Duration: 01/01/2014 to 31/12/2018

website: http://cca.eionet.europa.eu/

General aims

The ETC/CCA supports the EEA in informing policy development and implementation in the area of CCIVA by means of data, information, indicators and assessments.
In particular, the ETC/CCA supports the development and implementation of the 2013 EU Strategy on Climate Change Adaptation, by assisting the maintenance of the European Climate Adaptation Platform (Climate-ADAPT). It also provides support to the development of some main EU environmental, sectoral and other policies that require mainstreaming of climate change adaptation: e.g. 2020 Biodiversity Strategy, 2012 Water Blueprint, Water Framework Directive, Floods Directive, ICZM Strategy.
UFZ holds the task lead for the Task "Climate Change Indicators and Report".
