Forschung
Unsere Forschung fokussiert auf die molekulare Untersuchung anaerober mikrobieller Prozesse, die zur Bekämpfung des menschengemachten Klimawandels und dem Abbau von Kontaminationen in der Umwelt genutzt werden können.

Lehre
Wir geben Lehrveranstaltungen im Rahmen des Fachgebiet Geobiotechnologie, Technische Universität Berlin, Institut für Biotechnologie. Details der Kurse sind im Abschnitt Studium und Lehre der Fachgebietsseite beschrieben.
Im jedem Sommersemester bieten wir einen integrierten Kurs der Geobiotechnologie/Umweltbiotechnologie (Vorlesung und Seminar) an (Dr. Adrian).
Am Ende des Wintersemesters (Ende Februar) bieten wir einen einwöchiges Praktikum der Geobiotechnologie/Umweltbiotechnologie in unseren Laboren am Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung - UFZ in Leipzig an (Dr. Deobald, Dr. Adrian).
Dr. Darja Deobald bietet im Wintersemester eine Vorlesung Enzymtechnologie für Masterstudierende Biotechnologie an.
Dr. Chang Ding bietet einen Integrierten Kurs (Vorlesung in Berlin + Praktikum in Leipzig) zum Thema Molekulare Umwelttechnik an.
Die Vorlesung von Dr. Karolina Nowak zum Thema Isotopenbiotechnologie findet seit 2022 nicht mehr statt.
