Case Study Regions

EU member states are very heterogeneous with respect to biodiversity, landscape structure, structure of the agricultural sector, different problems regarding the provision of ESS (esp. soil protection, diffuse water pollution and/or overall water consumption) and varying importance of other objectives linked to agricultural land use. The partner countries with their case study areas represent some of the differences within the EU. TALE contributes to increasing the data set across Europe. Common methodologies are applied which allows a comparison of these data. Five different regions are covered by the TALE project
