iSOIL - Interactions between soil related sciences -
Linking geophysics, soil science and digital soil mapping

Objectives

  • Development of new and the improvement of existing methods for geophysical, spectroscopic and monitoring techniques
  • Development, validation and evaluation of necessary concepts and strategies for the transfer of measured physical parameter distributions into soil maps
  • Development of guidelines for target-oriented soil mapping, that is both realistic and employable by end-users
  • Dissemination of the technologies and concepts developed
