WP 6: Guidelines and data implementation

Lead Partner: UFZ

A quandary of large research projects is often the insufficient degree of dissemination of knowledge between the scientific community, relevant authorities and prospective users as well as deficiencies in standardization. Thus the deduction, preparation and propagation of useful standards for geophysical measurements and mapping are very important tasks of iSOIL. This was achieved via a CEN workshop for standardization, end-user workshops and training activities on sampling tools and will end in the publication of a handbook. The objectives of WP6 are:

  • Development of guidelines and data implementation
  • Harmonization of the methods with the help of a CEN Workshop agreement
  • Publication of a methodological book (handbook)
  • Preparing data for implementation in European data bases – data management systems
