    The main tasks of the seven WPs:
    WP1 and WP2 focus on developing reasonable measurement techniques, either with already established methods or with emerging techniques. WP3 develops physically-based transfer functions (for emerging techniques too), so-called constitutive models to establish the relations between geophysical and soil parameters. These will be used by WP4 for DSM approaches. Furthermore, WP4 will use empirical models/ statistical approaches for the development of a methodology for generating maps as an input for WP5, as well as providing sampling strategies for WP1-3. One key task of WP5 is the application, calibration and validation of physically-based models for the relevant threats. WP6 aims to establish correct guidelines for best-practice and data policies. In WP7, all partners involved collaborate in order to ensure extensive dissemination of achieved results and methodologies.
