Prof. Dr. Heike Graßmann
From January 2012 to September 2018 Heike Graßmann was acting as Administrative Managing Director of the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), where she was responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Legal Affairs and Infrastructure. Since October 2018 she is the acting Administrative Director of the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine and temporarily acts as Administrative Managing Director at the UFZ.
Heike Graßmann studied business administration at the Martin-Luther-University of Halle-Wittenberg, where she also worked as a research assistant to the Chair of Organization and Human Resources and wrote her doctoral thesis. From 2003 to 2005, she worked as a personal assistant to the management at the UFZ; until 2006 as a personal assistant to the Chancellor of the University of Leipzig and from the end of 2006 until the end of 2011, she was head of the finance department of the UFZ.
Since 2015, she has been a deputy chairwoman at the Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK) and since 2011 Heike Graßmann has been participated actively as the representative of the partners from the operational side in the Business Study Commission of the Vocational Academies Sachsen.
Since 2017, Heike Graßmann has been Deputy Vice-President of the Helmholtz Association.
Since October 2015, she has also been an honorary professor at the Leipzig Vocational Academy of the Saxony Vocational Academy.
