Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences (2006), and Master’s degree in plant ecology (2009) in Pernambuco Federal University is Operational Director of Green Hill Soluções Geográficas LTDA, and has experience in the field of Ecology, with emphasis in Forest Modelling, Landscape and Ecosystem Ecology; Climate change with focus on the generation of carbon credits through reforestation and reduced degradation and deforestation (REDD+); Payment for environmental services (PES); High Diversity Forest Restoration Methods; and Forest Dynamics of Fragmented Landscapes. At the moment, he is finishing his PhD in Ecological Modeling financed by DAAD/CNPq/UFZ at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ in Leipzig, Germany.
