Projects

Schweine und Karte In the framework of my PhD thesis, I deal with the spatially-explicit, individual-based modelling of Classical Swine Fever in Wild Boar (Sus scrofa) populations. My objective is the assessment and optimization of disease control measures, particularly vaccination, in the frame of the EU project CSFV_goDIVA. My studies are supervised by Dr. H.-H. Thulke (UFZ) and Prof. Dr. H. Heilmeier (TU Bergakademie Freiberg)
