Influence of salt and matric stress on growth, membrane composition and gene expression of Pseudomonas putida mt-2 (UBT, Prof. Matthias Kästner, Dr. Hermann Heipieper, Dr. Jochen Müller)

2006-2009

Bachelor Student

Studies of Biochemistry at Leipzig University

Thesis: Characterization of a hydrogenase in Geobacter metallireducens (group of Prof. Matthias Boll)

Research interests

My interests include the investigation of the influence of ectomycorrhizal fungi to the formation and mobilzation of soil organic matter. The formation will be analysed in a soil bioreactor, whereas the mobilzation will be investigated using a plant-fungus-soil-system. Analytic tools cover GC-MS and HPLC.
