Second Roundtable
The second out of ten envisaged round table meetings was held on November 2, 2010 at the Pontifícia Universidad Católica de Chile, Campus Lo Contador, Providencia. The participating organizations were the same as in the first meeting in August 2010, although there were some new faces representing some of the public and private sector, the civil society and the multilateral organizations, and a couple new additions. After two input presentations from the CAS project on expected climate changes and impacts, the stakeholders introduced their specific views regarding important topics that they see as being related to the core sectors of water, energy and land use - including aspects of social and physical vulnerability.
Based on the results of the second round table meeting, the project aims to include the collaboration and specific inputs of the various stakeholders regarding existing measures in the identified topics for the third round table meeting. This third meeting is scheduled for the end of January 2011.
