The Purchasing Department is responsible for the central procurement of all supplies and services required by the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ. The department is split into individual procurement areas headed by specialist staff.
The focus is on achieving the most cost-effective procurement of goods and services for all UFZ sites. The department includes equipment management and incoming goods.
