Kaarina Foit

Kaarina Foit is a geoecologist with specialization in ecotoxicology. Her research has so far focussed on:

  • Toxicant effects on freshwater ecosystems in the presence of biotic interactions.
  • Ecological risk assessment at landscape level using GIS and statistical approaches.
  • Longterm and transgenerational effects of nanoparticles on freshwater organisms within the framework of the joint project Fe-NANOSIT.
