Jeremias Becker Portrait

Jeremias received his diploma in Biology the Philipps University Marburg and specialised in Ecology. In his diploma-thesis he investigated the susceptibility of central and marginal populations within a species´ range to inbreeding and outbreeding depression according to the ‘abundant centre’ model.

In 2009 he joined our working group to improve strategies for integrated mosquito control, focusing on the role of biological interactions in population recovery and in the development of resistance to insecticides.
