Third-Party Funding at UFZ
The Department of Scientific and Administrative Project Supervision (WAP) actively supports all UFZ staff in seeking external funding. Its support comprises scientific advice and administrative assistance for projects maintained by German and European funding institutions. In addition, it handles research contracts and coordinates cooperation with universities and colleges.

for successful top-rank junior researcher from abroad, only completed your doctorate with distinction in the last six years, and have published work in prestigious international journals or publishing houses. The Award allows you to spend five years building up working groups and working on a high-profile, innovative research project of your own choice at a research institution of your own choice in Germany. The award is valued at 1.65 million EUR.

Das führende Stellenportal für Karrieren in Lehre und Forschung zeichnet seit 2007 jedes Jahr eine Person aus, die durch herausragendes Engagement, zukunftsweisende Ideen oder beispielhaftes Handeln die Lehre oder Forschung nachhaltig positiv beeinflusst hat.
Der academics-Nachwuchspreis wird an eine Einzelperson vergeben, die einer Hochschule oder einer hochschulnahen Forschungseinrichtung angehört. Die Ausschreibung richtet sich an Nachwuchswissenschaftler/innen aller Forschungsrichtungen bis zu einem Alter von 35 Jahren.
Deutscher Studienpreis der Körber-Stiftung
Für Beiträge junger Forschung von herausragender gesellschaftlicher Bedeutung vergibt die Körber-Stiftung jährlich Preise im Gesamtwert von über 100.000 Euro, darunter drei Spitzenpreise à 30.000 Euro.
Die Ausschreibung richtet sich an Promovierte aller wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen, die mit magna oder summa cum laude promoviert haben. Es gibt keine Altersbeschränkung. Einzureichen ist ein Text von maximal 40.000 Zeichen, in dem Sie die zentralen Forschungsergebnisse Ihrer Dissertation und deren gesellschaftliche Bedeutung spannend und verständlich darstellen.
Einsendeschluss: immer 1. März des Folgejahres.
