Soft skills module
This module adresses skills such as scientific writing, presentation and communication. It consists of courses addressing special skills of relevance for students intending to persue a scientific career. The best PhD students can apply for a follow-up program for postdoctoral scientists aiming at the development of leadership skills. The module is scheduled to run throughout the PhD period.

The cooperation SMILE (Selbst Management Initiative LEipzig lernt Gründen) offers several courses --free of charge!-- for HIGRADE PhDs. Requirement for participants: Residence in Saxonia, alumnus of a Saxonian university, OR enrolled at a Saxonian university.
The courses are in German, but can be held in English when required.
